With deluxe features, solid-top construction and enormous performance features including a surprisingly remarkable projection and clarity, the Linea Profesional is a classical guitar that is designed to bring your music center stage. The Linea Profesional is available in solid cedar top with rosewood back and sides that produce warmness, richness, clarity, and perfection to any musical piece. The neck is constructed by the Alhambra luthiers to satisfy the demands of any player; it offers great feel and playability. In addition, this guitar presents excellent traits expected from any Alhambra guitar that include beautiful hand-made rosette, bone nut and bridge saddle, and very elegant tuners.
Alhambra includes an extra saddle with this guitar. It is a taller saddle, giving you the option to adjust the action height but still keep the original saddle as a backup.
The Alhambra Linea Profesional features Alhambra's ErgoNeck. The ErgoNeck is the result of the continuous research developed by Alhambra Manufactures to improve the ergonomics of the neck. Thus, we can favor the position of the left hand. Due to its asymmetric shape, the ErgoNeck can be adapted in a more natural way to the guitarist. (See illustration above.)

IMPORTANT: This guitar features a 12-hole bridge. This design puts the strings at a higher angle relative to the saddle, allowing a greater transfer of energy into the top of the guitar at the saddle. This gives this guitar extra volume and resonance. It is very important that the strings are tied properly to prevent slipping. For instructions on how to tie the strings, please see the video below:
Recommended Strings: This guitar comes with D'Addario XTC44 Extra Hard Tension strings installed. These are not bad strings, but don't allow the guitar to live up to its full potential. I recommend the following strings for this guitar:

This is THE guitar to own! You’ll never outgrow it and you’ll never regret buying it! Excellent build quality. Every detail is perfectly matched. The weight and balance add to great ease of playing. The guitar is beautiful and impeccably set up by Geoff. Its sound is rich and powerful, almost too loud for the small office where I practice. This is the first classical guitar I've owned since a no-name cheapo that was my first guitar nearly 60 years ago. I don't pretend that my playing skill will ever be up to what this guitar can do, but I wanted a guitar with really good sound, and the linea profesional delivers. I've only had it for a week, and the transition from a steel string will take time, but so far I am very happy with the guitar as well as Geoff's setup and string recommendation. Finally, the case fits the guitar like a glove.
When we are buying online, we just hope for the best especially instruments. Well, my Fiance and I can say Xguitars is the best place to buy guitars online.
