You can rest assured that your guitar will be flawless or we'll replace it or refund it and cover all shipping charges. The Alhambra Linea Profesional cedar top classical guitar is absolutely the best Spanish guitar in its price range. It has superb volume and projection, with strong basses and clear trebles. Due to an innovative bracing pattern, it has better clarity and projection than most cedar top guitars.

With deluxe features, solid-top construction and enormous performance features including a surprisingly remarkable projection and clarity, the Linea Profesional is a classical guitar that is designed to bring your music center stage. This guitar will always be ready for the demands of any performance situation. The Linea Profesional is available in solid cedar top with rosewood back and sides that produce warmness, richness, clarity, and perfection to any musical piece. The neck is constructed by the Alhambra luthiers to satisfy the demands of any player; it offers great feel and playability. In addition, this guitar presents excellent traits expected from any Alhambra guitar that include beautiful hand-made rosette, bone nut and bridge saddle, and very elegant tuners.

Alhambra includes an extra saddle with this guitar. It is a taller saddle, giving you the option to adjust the action height but still keep the original saddle as a backup.

The Alhambra Linea Profesional features Alhambra's ErgoNeck. The ErgoNeck is the result of the continuous research developed by Alhambra Manufactures to improve the ergonomics of the neck. Thus, we can favor the position of the left hand. Due to its asymmetric shape, the ErgoNeck can be adapted in a more natural way to the guitarist. (See illustration above.)

After becoming acquainted with the guitar over the course of two weeks, I can confidently say this is the best guitar I have owned. The craftsmanship is beautiful, the sound is warm but at the same time is has great projection. I also quite like the feel of the ErgoNeck. It makes playing the guitar more comfortable. I am sure the instrument is going to mature well and provide a lifetime of enjoyment. I am also very impressed with the professionalism and attention to detail of Geoff Ferdon and his company XGuitars. The guitar came very well packed, was setup perfectly, and was delivered without a flaw on it. He has definitely earned my business.

Stellar review for both Geoff and the Linea Professional Cedar

First, this guitar is a complete joy. The combination of playability and projection is exact what I was hoping to achieve. I've been playing guitars for more than 50 years, classical for about a decade. I had stopped because of arthritis in my thumb, but this Fall I picked my old classical guitar up again and began to play. Music felt too important, so I got back to practicing, rebuilt my callouses, and after a few months, decided it was time to be serious and get a guitar with which I could perform and practice with pleasure. I contacted Geoff, had an appointment at his house, drove to Asheville, and tried out six different guitars of about the same price stratum. Cedar vs spruce? Preferred cedar. When I arrived, I knew I was going to buy one of the Ramirez guitars, but playing in Geoff's living room, the Alhambra made my fingers feel at home, and the first time I played it my wife, who was doing video games on her phone, suddenly sat up and said, "That's different!" It was. And is. I can very highly recommend both the Linea Professional (which is beautifully constructed as well as very musical), and Geoff and XGuitars. Both first rate all the way.

Simply outstanding

I had done my homework so I knew I wanted a Linea Professional. Geoff was extremely helpful with the decision between spruce and cedar, and very patient. The price was over $500 cheaper than the same instrument at a well known guitar shop on Maple Street in Atlanta (they think Geoff is great too!). The shipment process was fast and easy. The gun arrived in a couple of days and it is fantastic. I will definitely be doing business with xGuitars again. Jim

The craftsmanship is impeccable. This guitar projects it's sound well and the quality of it's sound is rich and clear. This makes it easier to make your dynamics and ornamentation stand out. I've had mine for over three years and it's sound has matured and is very pleasing to the ear.
The ordering process was easy and it was shipped on time. The packaging was appropriate and arrived unscathed. I did find the A(fifth) string had a slight buzz due to the nut cut just a little deep on that string. I was able to easily correct it. In general, I found the XGuitar staff responsive and helpful.
