The Alhambra Linea Profesional cedar top classical guitar is absolutely the best Spanish guitar in its price range. It has superb volume and projection, with strong basses and clear trebles. Due to an innovative bracing pattern, it has better clarity and projection than most cedar top guitars.
With deluxe features, solid-top construction and enormous performance features including a surprisingly remarkable projection and clarity, the Linea Profesional is a classical guitar that is designed to bring your music center stage. This guitar will always be ready for the demands of any performance situation. The Linea Profesional is available in solid cedar top with rosewood back and sides that produce warmness, richness, clarity, and perfection to any musical piece. The neck is constructed by the Alhambra luthiers to satisfy the demands of any player; it offers great feel and playability. In addition, this guitar presents excellent traits expected from any Alhambra guitar that include beautiful hand-made rosette, bone nut and bridge saddle, and very elegant tuners.
Alhambra includes an extra saddle with this guitar. It is a taller saddle, giving you the option to adjust the action height but still keep the original saddle as a backup.
The Alhambra Linea Profesional features Alhambra's ErgoNeck. The ErgoNeck is the result of the continuous research developed by Alhambra Manufactures to improve the ergonomics of the neck. Thus, we can favor the position of the left hand. Due to its asymmetric shape, the ErgoNeck can be adapted in a more natural way to the guitarist. (See illustration above.)

The craftsmanship is impeccable. This guitar projects it's sound well and the quality of it's sound is rich and clear. This makes it easier to make your dynamics and ornamentation stand out. I've had mine for over three years and it's sound has matured and is very pleasing to the ear.
The ordering process was easy and it was shipped on time. The packaging was appropriate and arrived unscathed. I did find the A(fifth) string had a slight buzz due to the nut cut just a little deep on that string. I was able to easily correct it. In general, I found the XGuitar staff responsive and helpful.
I purchased this guitar from Geoff in early 2018 and absolutely loved it. The play ability and sound are amazing. Sadly the guitar was stolen but I intend to purchase another one as soon as possible. Geoff and Xguitars are very professional and alwqays offer the best service and prices. They are highly recommended for all your classical guitar needs.
The Alhambra Linea Profesional (cedar) arrived intact - it was well packed and secure. It was immediately obvious that the guitar had a bigger sound than my other two guitars. As I have played it over the past two weeks, its tone is opening up as well, and I am sure I will enjoy playing the guitar for years to come.
I chose the VGV branded case. I'm glad I upgraded - it is a very attractive case.
Geoff is very knowledgeable and helpful. He is clearly committed to customer satisfaction. Thank you.
I had higher hopes for this guitar. The sound is very pronounced, (clear voice) however I don't feel it is has a very rich or full sound.
The Linea Professional is magnificent. It’s my first classical guitar so it’s hard to compare to other classicals. I’ve played folk/blues/rock for 50 years and only took up classical when I retired to learn something new. I learned for a little over a year on my Martin 000 28 VS until I was sure I would stay with it, then took the plunge and bought this one. A bit of apples & oranges but it’s easily the equal of the Martin in terms of being a great tool for the job for which it was designed.
As far as visuals go, the Indian rosewood is more attractive than the Martin and the Linea’s finish is superior. They’re equal in playability, both are great instruments. The Linea has beautiful round tones and the response is even all over the neck. Obviously the Linea is far superior for classical music.
It’s a wonderful guitar that makes me want to improve to bring out more of its tonal beauty. I’d recommend it to anyone.
