Every guitar is given a thorough 18-point check including playing through every note, checking intonation, adjusting saddle & nut heights, checking neck relief, fret ends, tuners, finish, and more. You can rest assured that your guitar will be flawless or we'll replace it or refund it and cover all shipping charges. Also, unlike any of the large stores, all of our guitars are kept in a climate controlled room at 50% humidity so you don't have to worry about sharp frets, dried out fretboards, or hidden cracks in your guitar.
Note: The guitar shown in these photos does not have the Flex M Blend installed. The guitar you would receive does have the Flex M Blend. Updated photos showing the Flem M Blend installed in this guitar to be added soon.
The Alhambra 9P CW E8 is a cutaway / electronics version of Alhambra's model 9P. It is a beautiful, all solid, concert-quality classical guitar. It is beautifully crafted, has a wonderful tone, is very loud, and is very playable. This is an excellent choice for the serious guitar player.
This guitar is very similar to the Alhambra 8p, but in a deeper body to give it an even fuller sound. It is built by a smaller, more experienced team at the Alhambra facility. It features a lighter, nitrocellulose lacquer finish and a bridge-like cross bracing. All of these factors work together to give this guitar a very beautiful, loud, and refined sound.
The Alhambra 9P CW E8 features Alhambra's ErgoNeck. The ErgoNeck is the result of the continuous research developed by Alhambra Manufactures to improve the ergonomics of the neck. Thus, we can favor the position of the left hand. Due to its asymmetric shape, the ErgoNeck can be adapted in a more natural way to the guitarist. (See illustration above.)
The Alhambra 9P CW E8 is set up with an action height that is approximately 0.5mm lower than a standard classical guitar's action. It includes an extra saddle that can be used to raise the action if desired.

I own and play a José Ramirez, a top artist, signatured model (1A), signed by Ramirez the Third for 20 years, Recently I have a need to buy another instrument, that is also a classical guitar, but a cut-away with sound pickup, to complement my Jose Ramirez’s.
Geoff recommended the Alhambra 9P CW E8 as it is current model has replaced the E2’s model which is no longer in production by Alhambra.
The guitar was shipped immediately and arrived in perfect condition, very well professionally packed.
Upon holding the instrument, I was so pleased with its look, its spotless finish, feel and workmanship appearance, its careful details, binding, lines, headstock, tuners slots, tuners, rosette, fret installation, body perforation, all mitered lines and joined to their perfection. Just like my Ramirez 1A.
Upon playing the guitar, the sound is amazing, each note feel separate, projecting, coming out of the guitar without much playing effort, the notes are also sweet, nasal ‘spanish’ sound. The three treble strings deliver a tad of natural echoing effect enough that is elegant and defined. I play each note on the fretboard on each string from the first to the 19th fret, no buzz, easy to play as the action is low, so right, and no ‘wolf’ notes (dead) are there to be found. Sign of a perfect guitar. The guitar fretboard is a tad narrower than standard classical and the neck was shaped in a way that helps me even easier to play. (that is also described by Alhambra).
The low set of strings deliver ‘Spanish’ bass sound notes and not over powered the treble sides, both sets are very well balanced.
This guitar delivers musical tones and colors and playability as just does my Ramirez’s. This Alhambra costs a fraction of that of my Ramirez’s
