Description
The Alhambra 9P CW E8 Classical Guitar is a handmade Spanish guitar with cutaway & electronics. It is a beautiful, all solid, concert-quality classical guitar. It is beautifully crafted, has a wonderful tone, is very loud, and is very playable. This is an excellent choice for the serious guitar player. (Click here to hear the pronunciation of "Alhambra".)
All Solid.
Customer Review: "I really love this guitar. Very light and has great tone especially for gypsy jazz. Also, I have been recently using this guitar to play my arrangements of jazz standards, and sounds really nice playing 'straight' jazz as well. It was worth the wait. Thanks again for your string recommendation, they work well with this guitar." -Doug S., Santa Barbara, CA
This guitar is very similar to the Alhambra 8p, but in a deeper body to give it an even fuller sound. It is built by a smaller, more experienced team at the Alhambra facility. It features a lighter, nitrocellulose lacquer finish and a bridge-like cross bracing. All of these factors work together to give this guitar a very beautiful, loud, and refined sound.
The Alhambra 9P CW E8 is set up with an action height that is lower than a standard classical guitar's action. It includes an extra saddle that can be used to raise the action if desired.

Recommended Strings: This guitar comes with D'Addario EXP44 Extra Hard Tension strings installed. These are not bad strings, but don't allow the guitar to live up to its full potential. I recommend the following strings for this guitar:
