The Alhambra 3C Classical Guitar is an upgrade from the 2C. The 3C adds rosewood bindings, higher grade tuners, and extra inlay on the back of the guitar. (Click here to hear the pronunciation of "Alhambra".)
As a student guitar, with the 3C model you can see a further step in terms of performance compared to models 1C and 2C. The 3c adds rosewood bindings, higher grade tuners, and extra inlay on the back of the guitar. The Alhambra guitar 3C model is a beautiful guitar. Made by hand and taking care of all the details, it means one more step in the student line, a robust instrument, versatile and with a wonderful tone. With a soft sound and a very good quality finish, it is a great choice to work the technique, a safe choice to start in the study of the guitar. Regarding the saddle and the nut, melamine has been used, a synthetic material which is highly transmissive of sound and contributes to a round and defined sound.
In short, the 3C model is an excellent purchase with a price range suitable for a student guitar.

Recommended Strings: This guitar comes with D'Addario EXP44 Extra Hard Tension strings installed. These are not bad strings, but don't allow the guitar to live up to its full potential. I recommend the following strings for this guitar:
Carbon: My favorite strings of all I've tried are
Savarez Alliance set 540J. These strings provide great volume and resonance. Being Carbon, they are a bit thinner in diameter than nylon strings. The tone is brighter and not as mellow as nylon strings. If you want a softer sound, nylon may suit you better.
Nylon: For nylon strings, I really like Savarez Corum New Cristal set 500CJ strings. They provide a nice round tone, good volume, and a comfortable feel.
If you would like to have strings installed other than the ones that come with your guitar, you can add the
Strings Installation Service to your order.
