It is an excellent product. The most important fact is that Geoff keeps the supply in a climatized room. That guarantees it would last up to six months. Avoid buying from Amazon. Their product would last a month if you are lucky.

I've take to adding soaked and wrung-out wash cloths underneath the headstock humidpak. Also, purchased a couple of BT humidstats as monitors. One goes in a hard, plush-lined case and the other in a padded gig bag. Humidity is maintained twixt 40 - 60%.

I have been using the Humidpak system since I bought the first of my 3 guitars almost 4 years ago. They are easy to use, easy to determine when they need to be replaced, and are highly effective in maintaining proper humidity for my instruments.
