Returning to old favorites

My 2006 Richard Prenkert lattice-braced classical guitar came equipped with Savarez 500 AR, but after a few years I started trying different brands, some less expensive. I recently returned to Savarez strings and am again obtaining the sound and response I used to achieve from my new guitar. I think I'll stick with them henceforth.

XGuitars seems to have the lowest prices for these string sets, although I have to admit it took two full weeks for the strings to arrive in California after I placed my order. Fortunately, I was not in a rush to replace the old strings, so it's all good.

My Favorite Strings

Have tried a few different sets of Savarez strings and the 500AR is my favorite mix. The Corum basses are solid and Alliance trebles are clear and bright allowing me to use normal tension rather than high without losing volume. And the thinner diameter on the trebles make them very playable. I have a cedar top, spruce top, and a flamenco and I use the 500AR on all three.
