Description
Ramirez Guitarra Del Tiempo Cedar Classical Guitar
The newest guitar from José Ramírez is yet another stunning example of Spanish craftsmanship at its finest. The Guitarra del Tiempo was created to commemorate one hundred forty years of peerless Ramírez design and construction. This guitar features a newly-designed enhanced top-brace system that delivers articulate noting and full-bodied tone. The Guitarra del Tiempo's ample volume and reactive dynamics will satisfy the most demanding guitarist.
This is a continuation of the Ramírez Anniversary models (and direct followup to the popular 130 Años), however unlike previous models, the Guitarra Del Tiempo will be a permanent addition to the comprehensive Ramírez line of classical and flamenco instruments (with rotating changes to the beautifully distinctive soundhole rosette).
The warm, yet bold sound of the Guitarra del Tiempo is sure to exceed the player's expectations. You can feel its power in your belly; you can relish the lingering sustain of its harmonics across all six strings.
Classical Guitar made an in-depth review of the del Tiempo. Click Here to read it on their website.
Ramirez has recently upgraded the tuning machines on the del Tiempo. If you've read reviews that refer to bad tuning machines, those are in reference to the previous types. The machines on this guitar function very well.
The del Tiempo has a 12-hole brige.
NOTE: The tuning machines on this guitar have black knobs, as shown in the closeup photo above.

IMPORTANT: This guitar features a 12-hole bridge. This design puts the strings at a higher angle relative to the saddle, allowing a greater transfer of energy into the top of the guitar at the saddle. This gives this guitar extra volume and resonance. It is very important that the strings are tied properly to prevent slipping. For instructions on how to tie the strings, please see the video below:
