"Torija" by Federico Moreno Torroba (Guitarist: David Stevenson)
The Mengual y Margarit Serie NT classical guitar is a truly world-class concert instrument. It's tone is absolutely beautiful and it's power and projection are at the top of its class.
The Mengual y Margarit Serie NT classical guitar has thicker sides and back (3mm vs 2mm), giving it more volume and sustain. You can feel that it is heavier than a standard guitar. The top is thinner than standard, giving it very powerful volume and projection. The Serie NT differs from the Serie C only in that it uses a Torres bracing pattern. This bracing pattern gives it a beautifully full traditional classical guitar sound.
The Alhambra Mengual y Margarit Serie NT features Alhambra's ErgoNeck. The ErgoNeck is the result of the continuous research developed by Alhambra Manufactures to improve the ergonomics of the neck. Thus, we can favor the position of the left hand. Due to its asymmetric shape, the ErgoNeck can be adapted in a more natural way to the guitarist. (See illustration above.)

For an improved sound: We have found that Savarez Alliance 540J Hard Tension strings give Alhambra guitars much better tone, resonance, volume, and sustain than the stock strings installed on this guitar. If you would like to have the strings on your guitar replaced with Savarez Alliance 540J, please CLICK HERE.
Due to new U.S. export restrictions, we cannot ship guitars built with rosewood to countries outside of the United States.
