4P - This instrument was the very first Alhambra to have rosewood back and sides and an ebony fretboard, and it has become one of our best-selling guitars. Known throughout the world for its sweet and full-bodied sound, this guitar is comparable to instruments well out of its price range. With high-quality precision tuners, and a melamine nut and saddle, the instrument is a perfect combination of sound projection and durability. The ebony fingerboard is resilient to the wear and tear of everyday playing, and the four layers of light varnish provide excellent projection without compromising durability of the top.
The Alhambra 4P features Alhambra's ErgoNeck. The ErgoNeck is the result of the continuous research developed by Alhambra Manufactures to improve the ergonomics of the neck. Thus, we can favor the position of the left hand. Due to its asymmetric shape, the ErgoNeck can be adapted in a more natural way to the guitarist. (See illustration above.)
Top: Solid Red Cedar (in stock) or Solid German Spruce (special order)

For an improved sound: We have found that Savarez Alliance 540J Hard Tension strings give Alhambra guitars much better tone, resonance, volume, and sustain than the stock strings installed on this guitar. If you would like to have the strings on your guitar replaced with Savarez Alliance 540J, please CLICK HERE.
