This is the more economical version of the beautifully genius Sagework (formerly Barnett) Magnetic Guitar Support. Functionally, it is exactly the same, but the wooden parts of the standard model are replaced with Vydyne, a high quality reinforced nylon that is both strong and beautiful.

Rock Solid

This guitar support is very sturdy and holds the guitar in the position that you need for your individual comfort. It was very simple to install. You just need to follow the detailed instructions that came with the support. The very powerful magnets are placed inside the guitar to grab the support and hold it firmly to the guitar. I have used the standard footstools and a sundry of suction cup devices, and I must say the Sagework Umbra Guitar Support is by far the best, giving the guitar a rock-solid feel when playing.

I purchased the STANDARD size and with a little adjusting I was able to fit it to my liking. I position the guitar rather low when playing and it might have been better for me to get the SHORT size since my STANDARD size is at the lowest setting possible. I was impressed by the many ways to adjust the guitar hight and angle with the support.

This thing should last for many years. It is extremely well built. It is more expensive than most other supports but it is worth it!

Excellent Guitar Support

This is a very handy device. I've used a footstool for years, but as I age, my back is starting to complain. I've used large pads in the past and the guitar didn't feel like it was in touch with me enough. With the Sagework Umbra, I feel like the guitar is attached to me.

Best Guitar Support that I have used.

I have tried several guitar supports, and the Sagework Umbra Support is the best that I have used. It holds the guitar securely, and I am able to position the guitar exactly where I want it. The magnets are not difficult to install. Just follow the directions carefully. Installation is easier with the strings removed. I found the Youtube video on the installation of the magnets to be helpful as well. Excellent customer service.

After about 30 minutes of using a foot stool, my back and neck would hurt and I would have to take a break. So I finally decided to get a Sage Guitar Support (which I have been hesitant to do because I was afraid of damaging the finish on my guitars). The support corrects my posture and I can practice feeling any pain on my back and neck for hours. Great product! I highly recommend this for anyone who has posture problems. Plus, being more relaxed while playing, it DOES improve your playing. Thank you SAGEWORK.
