Model: Atlas (Formerly known as the "Barnett Original")
Orientation: Great for right-handed or left-handed players
(Sagework Supports are symmetrical)
Which size to choose? Please see our Sagework Sizing Options page.
This version in its lowest position is 1" taller than the standard Atlas in it's lowest position and 2" taller in it's highest position. This difference is in the larger arm only. The smaller, curved arm is the same size for both supports.
We recommend this version if would use a footstool in its highest position or if standard supports do not position the guitar high enough for your playing style.

The Sageworks Supports are the best I’ve ever used. I also have a Tall Umbra and it works just as well albeit it being less pretty than the Atlas (though it is handsome in its utilitarian way).
I am 5’ll” and currently using it in a standard chair with the post all the way down in on the upper bout and almost all the way down on the lower bout. If I’m sitting on a taller seat with my legs at a different angle I telescope the posts out a little.
I used to play with the guitar higher and I believe the position possibly started to negatively affect my left elbow, and although I’m sure I could effectively use a standard size Sagework, if I had to order another one I would still go with the tall. I can’t foresee ever playing lower than I am now and I like having the option to raise it way up if I want to.
