World-class production meets old-world tradition

The Kremona guitars are built by hand in the European tradition, and all parts and components are assembled in the same workshop. In addition, every instrument is inspected and set up by a professional before it is shipped to the player.

Kremona has gained increasing popularity in the last 20 years, rivaling its groundbreaking start more than a century ago. World-class production meets old-world tradition in these handmade instruments. Among the current models are nylon-string crossovers with cutaways and radiused fingerboards, a revolutionary nylon guitar with seven strings, amazing steel-string guitars, beautiful ukuleles, and all-solid nylon guitars that sound fantastic.

FAQs

Can you strum a classical guitar?

Most nylon-string guitar players do not use a pick because their guitar lacks a pick-guard. However, it is possible to strum with a pick on nylon strings, and many guitarists do so successfully with Kremona guitars. Ultimately, the choice between using a pick or your fingers depends on your playing style and desired sound.

Is it harder to play chords on a classical guitar?

Classical guitars are easy to play due to their wide necks and nylon strings. 12-string guitars have close metal strings that require more pressure to play, making them challenging for beginners. Playing classical pieces on a 12-string guitar can be particularly difficult.
