Every guitar is given a professional setup and a thorough 19-point inspection including playing through every note, adjusting saddle & nut heights, checking neck relief, fret ends, tuning mechanisms, finish, and more. You can rest assured that your guitar will be flawless or we'll replace it or refund it and cover all shipping charges. Also, all guitars at XGuitars are kept at the perfect humidity and temperature to prevent hidden cracks, sharp frets, warped necks, etc.

NOTE: Suction cups do not work well on non-gloss finishes. If your finish is not smooth and shiny, we highly recommend Sagework Magnetic Guitar Supports. ErgoPlay includes adhesive films with this support that will allow suction cups to adhere more securely, but these films can cause serious damage to your guitar finish.

The ErgoPlay Troster Model offers the ultimate in adjustability. The height and angle of the arms can be adjusted as well as the angle and position of the suction cups relative to the support. Tabs on the suction cups allow easy removal to prevent damage to the guitar finish.

The Troster Model provides the possibility for increased height for taller players. If you prefer your guitar in a lower position, however, we recommend the Tappert model.

Arms folded down, its compact size allows it to fit in many standard hardshell cases. Folded to its minimum size, the Troster fits in an area that is 8.5" x 6" x 3.25".

Includes two ErgoPlay Suction Cup Helpers.

Minimum guitar body width: 3.5 inches (89mm)

Excellent

I got this because my Gitano, as great as its simplicity is, doesn't give a steep enough angle for how I play. The Tröster is very sturdy and highly customizable. Obviously, the downside is that it takes a while to set it up to exactly what you want. Once you do, I'd recommend using a silver or white marker to indicate how you have all the parts set. This will save you some time later on.
As always, shipping from XGuitars was quick.

Great guitar support!

I received the ErgoPlay Troster Guitar Support from Xguitars a few days after placing my order, so the shipping was really fast (to Canada).
Th ErgoPlay Troster itself is of really high quality and works as expected. It did take a few tries to get it adjusted and placed on my guitar but once that was done it keeps the guitar in the right position for playing comfort and works really well for relieving back pain. Highly recommended.

Ergoplay Troster Thumbs Up!

I started with the Sageworks Umbra and although the design was cool, the adjustability wasn’t there for me. Geoff, at Xguitars let me exchange the Umbra for the Troster. I highly recommend this support. The adjustability is endless and at a turn of a knob, no Allen key needed. I have not had any issues with the suction cups to date and this may have something to do with how the support lines up when attached. A lot of pros I see on YouTube, seem to use the Troster as well. This might be coincidence or not, but I am very happy with this support and how comfortable and stable it is. I’m 6’-2” and the arms have plenty of adjustment both on the high end and low end.

Updated suction cup support

I needed to find a guitar support due to failure of suction cups on my older support. I saw this recommended on youtube and thought I'd give it a try. I use it on an older but very expensive guitar. I think I'd be concerned about using it with a guitar that has a new finish. Also, you should remove it from the guitar after each use. Having said that, I'd rate it very high. Before you use the plastic kling on type sheets that accompany this support, try them on your older, less valuable instrument.
