Description
A superior flamenco guitar with high-quality woods. After several months of working with flamenco guitarists to develop an adequate fan bracing and body, we have designed an instrument with powerful bass, and with force and balance. It has a bright and very flamenco sound. This guitar also works great for jazz, bossa nova or popular Latin-American music.
This model can also be made with Indian Rosewood back and sides, that will give it the depth and warmth of the Rosewood. This option is normally used for solo concert guitars, although it also works well with music such as bossa nova or jazz. There's also the option to order it with thin sides to give it a greater comfort, for ease of use in live concerts. The last option we recommend is to amplify it with our equipment, as the thin sides have a lower projection.

Ramirez Flamenco Studio Guitar
The Ramirez Flamenco Studio Guitar continues the legacy of one of Spain's most respected guitar making families, offering authentic flamenco character in an accessible instrument. Designed specifically for the distinctive requirements of flamenco playing, this guitar delivers the percussive attack, quick response, and characteristic voice that defines the genre.
Authentic Flamenco Voice
With its solid spruce top and cypress back and sides, the Ramirez Flamenco Studio produces the bright, dry, and percussive sound essential for flamenco expression. The guitar responds quickly to both delicate touch and aggressive rasgueados, offering the snap and clarity needed for complex falsetas and the projection necessary to cut through accompanying dancers and singers.
Traditional Construction
Handcrafted in Spain according to traditional methods, the Ramirez Flamenco Studio features the lower action and flat fingerboard radius typical of flamenco guitars. The lightweight build and traditional Spanish fan bracing create an instrument that speaks quickly and articulates complex rhythmic patterns with precision, while the tap plates (golpeadores) protect the top during percussive playing.
Player-Focused Design
The neck shape and lower string height make this guitar particularly comfortable for flamenco technique, allowing for the speed and agility required by the genre. The transparent flamenco-style tuning machines maintain the instrument's lightweight headstock balance, contributing to the responsive feel that flamenco guitarists value.
Distinctive Aesthetics
The Ramirez Flamenco Studio maintains the understated elegance characteristic of traditional flamenco guitars. The light-colored cypress, paired with the spruce top and minimal ornamentation, creates a clean, functional appearance that reflects the instrument's focused purpose. The distinctive Ramirez label and headstock design connect this studio model to the company's storied heritage.
