The Alhambra 4p is our best-selling Alhambra classical guitar. It is the first Alhambra model with an ebony fretboard and rosewood back & sides. It has a very full-bodied and refined sound with a tone quality comparable to much higher-priced guitars. The Alhambra 4P has created a trend with a multitude of followers throughout the world. Regarding the top, four layers of light varnish highlight the solid top, a finish that forms a beautiful instrument with interesting features which offer a very good feel.

The 4P fingerboard is made of ebony. A very hard wood that resists the continuous activity of the left hand. In addition, in this model the machine heads are of superior quality, which allow a precise adjustment for the proper interpretive activity. This model has a sweet and a powerful sound. The saddle and the nut are made of melamine. A highly transmitting material of sound.

For an improved sound: We have found that Savarez Alliance 540J Hard Tension strings give Alhambra guitars much better tone, resonance, volume, and sustain than the stock strings installed on this guitar.  If you would like to have the strings on your guitar replaced with Savarez Alliance 540J, please CLICK HERE.

Due to new U.S. export restrictions, we cannot ship guitars built with rosewood to countries outside of the United States.
