Woodside Guitar Support GS2-LEV
This is the ultra convenient flip lever / cam lock model (GS2-LEV). For the entry level model (GS2-SCR), featuring an adjusting screw, CLICK HERE.
Far more reliable than suction cups, used by other brands' guitar support, the Woodside Support's grippers firmly grasp the edge of the instrument. The Woodside Support's unique (patent applied for) pivoting system compensates for any guitar body depth variation, and grips at all four points equally.
The GS2 utilizes a locking ball and socket mechanism to attach the support pillar to the clamping cradle. This gives the player the freedom to set up whatever angle they choose between the clamping cradle and the leg rest.
To stow the GS2, simply unscrew the adjuster wheel to remove the support pillar, fold it down, and you're ready to pack your GS2 into a guitar case and hit the road. The GS2 is made using only premium materials, and built to last a lifetime.
This support will work on guitars between 79mm and 113mm wide.
• Clamping Width Range: 79 – 113 mm
• Height Range (Upper part of leg rest to instrument resting position): 90 – 130 mm
• Angle Range – 13 Degrees (Ball & Socket) in all directions
• Weight: 200 g
• Materials: Anodized aluminum, brass, stainless steel
• Folded Size (for stowage; e.g. in guitar case): 115 x 100 x 57 (high)

I've been using the support for a few months now, and it really is an amazing support. It was easy to find the position that worked best for me. Typically I use a very low footstool with the woodside support on a low setting. I typically play with the neck tilted forward, and the body of the guilder tilted slightly back; using this combo of support really helped, but I found just using the woodside support on a high setting made it difficult to achieve this angle. If I were to suggest any change, it would be to allow the brass locking mechanism to have its own independent angle adjustment to allow for higher angles at the guitar itself. But even still, this is the support I would recommend to any guitarist looking to buy a reliable support.
Wow this is a fanntastic guitar support! It is worth the cost over supports with suction cups, because the guitar remains secure and stable. Ease of playing makes this comfortable and reliable support a great longterm value.
The Woodside Guitar Support GS2-LEV support is a well designed / engineered device. I particularly like that it's adjustable for the hieght of the guitar, neck angle, and can handle the widths of various guitars. Very pleased with this support and highly recommend it.
