The Alhambra 4p is our best-selling Alhambra classical guitar. It is the first Alhambra model with an ebony fretboard and rosewood back & sides. It has a very full-bodied and refined sound with a tone quality comparable to much higher-priced guitars. The Alhambra 4P has created a trend with a multitude of followers throughout the world. Regarding the top, four layers of light varnish highlight the solid top, a finish that forms a beautiful instrument with interesting features which offer a very good feel. (Click here to hear the pronunciation of "Alhambra".)
The 4P fingerboard is made of ebony. A very hard wood that resists the continuous activity of the left hand. In addition, in this model the machine heads are of superior quality, which allow a precise adjustment for the proper interpretive activity. This model has a sweet and a powerful sound. The saddle and the nut are made of melamine. A highly transmitting material of sound.

Recommended Strings: This guitar comes with D'Addario EXP44 Extra Hard Tension strings installed. These are not bad strings, but don't allow the guitar to live up to its full potential. I recommend the following strings for this guitar:

I've always wanted to get my hands on Alhambra guitars ever since my Spanish penpal showed me her few collections of Alhambra classical guitars.
After researching few guitar-shop websites, one of my friends recommended me XGuitars for the classical guitar/flamenco guitar purchase.
I was skeptical at first, but after reviewing some great reviews and few email conversations with Geoff, the owner (very helpful process btw). I decided to give it a try.
Once I received and opened the carefully packaged guitar, I immediately fell in love with this guitar!!
It's very beautiful, light and comfortable to play (warm and full-sound). I've certainly found my dream guitar.
Thank you so much Geoff!
This Guitar sounds so warm and powerful .The fisrt three strings E,A and D sound like piano and the other three ,G,B and E are so loud and vibrant.
It took me less then a minute to tune it and I did not detect any tuning defects anywhere on the fretboard.
The playability is so great and effortless .Great Guitar
