Sagework Guitar Supports have several unique design features that make them the most reliable, adjustable, and comfortable support on the market. The most prominent and advanced feature is the implementation of rare-earth magnets to safely and reliably attach the support to the instrument. The use of magnets ensures secure attachment but also allows the support to "find" the proper location on the instrument instantaneously through magnetic attraction. The use of magnets is only one of many features that sets this support apart from others.

WARNING: The magnets are VERY strong and caution must be used during the initial installation and while attaching and removing the support. If meticulous care is not taken, damage to your guitar could result.

WARNING: Do not use magnetic guitar supports if you have a pacemaker or similar device.

Better ergonomics

Much improved comfort over a footstool or an A frame support. The degree of adjustability along with less strain makes it my personal favorite. While the regular size is probably just fine for most I'm 5'5 and also have a shoulder issue which makes keeping my left arm lower more ideal for me so I have now also ordered the short sized front arm. It's a matter of a half inch I'm looking for but it'll make all the difference for me. Again I'm shorter and have a shoulder issue, I'm positive the regular size will be fine for most people under 6 foot or so. Highly recommended!

Perfect for French polish

I always used an ergoplay with my Yamaha classical. I recently bought a 1970 Antonio Ariza with French polish and the suction cups just don't stick. I have been using the Sagework for a couple weeks and I love it. Installation was easy. I just loosened my strings and followed the directions. It never slips. It fits in my case with my tuner. It is very adjustable (even after the magnets are mounted). It looks great.

Wonderful Solution

The Sageworks standard Atlas magnetic guitar support completely solved my issue with hip and back pain cuased by previous use of a footstool. Installation instructions could be clearer, but I got a good installation on the first try. The support's height and vertical tilt are both adjustable and may take some personal tweaking, but, once locked in, it's rock solid. I experimented with a contoured cushion as an alternative to the Sageworks support which also worked well, but tended to slide around. While the cushion felt better intially, the solidity of the Sageworks Atlas has made it indispensible to my playing. The ultra-strong magnets provide a seemingly ideal and unvarying position of the guitar which I have quickly come to rely upon. While it took me a week or so of experimentation with the footstool, cushion and Sageworks Atlas, the Sageworks Atlas proved the most stable and satisfying solution. Be sure to give some thought to proper sizing relative to your body and guitar size. I needed to adjust the STANDARD to maximum extension (6 feet and full size guitar) to achieve my ideal playing position. I really love thiis product.

Great Improvement!

I have used an excellent support with suction cups for a few years. While the support gives a nice setting for my frame, the suction cups wear out or just come off the guitar. The Sagework support uses magnets and protects the exterior polish of the guitar with cork padding. It is very firm and completely stable. I love it! I recommend this support without reservation. Do take some time to see how and where to install the internal magnets in your guitar. The company offers several avenues to teach you before you start; e.g. videos, written instructions, and images. It is easy to install once you understand what to do. Enjoy!
