Like its classic counterpart, the 4P, the flamenca 4F is a very balanced instrument. This model is the improved version of the 3F model, as it comes with gold-plated machine heads and ebony fingerboard. These features, in addition to its attractive orange color, bring extra warmth to the instrument that makes it very unique. With a solid German Spruce top, Sycamore for back and sides, and the orange color that characterizes it; the guitar Alhambra model 4F has a very flamenco appearance.
Like the 3F model, the 4F is a guitar with a very flamenco sound, it could be said that it is a percussive sound and with volume. In fact, with a simple strumming you can appreciate the powerful flamenco sound and a wonderful tone. It is also a guitar that defines the melody very well and has a good balance between bass and treble.

AN EXTRA SADDLE
The 3F comes with an extra saddle to be able to choose between a string action low or something higher, to adapt it to the tastes of the guitarist. Both heights are totally adapted to the guitar, that way the percussiveness is reasonable and it also ensures comfort in the performance. Designed to move quickly through the fingerboard. Both the saddle and the nut are made of melamine, a material that is highly conductive to the sound and helps balancing the sound in the instrument.

The Alhambra 4F is the guitar I go to when beginning to learn a new piece. The guitar is a delight to play with its close action. The instrument is beautiful to hold and the sound is sweet. I’ve had the 4F for a couple of months now and I appreciated that Geoff called me to discuss the actual guitar he would be shipping. The setup was perfect but I must confess to placing a small tape marker at the 7th fret. I am not playing flamenco but wanted to have this model. And the case upgrade was worth it. I have had this Guitar for just over a week but have had plenty of time playing it. The tone is warm and pleasant, It sounds as good as it looks and it looks great, Comfortable to play, even just transitioning from a basic acoustic. Just learning the Flamenco style but with the right chords and a few techniques it is beginning to sound authentic. Just what I was looking for and Glad I bought it from XGuitars. 👍
