Every guitar is given a professional setup and a thorough 19-point inspection including playing through every note, adjusting saddle & nut heights, checking neck relief, fret ends, tuning mechanisms, finish, and more. You can rest assured that your guitar will be flawless or we'll replace it or refund it and cover all shipping charges. Also, all guitars at XGuitars are kept at the perfect humidity and temperature to prevent hidden cracks, sharp frets, warped necks, etc.

NOTE: Suction cups do not work well on non-gloss finishes. If your finish is not smooth and shiny, we highly recommend Sagework Magnetic Guitar Supports. Alternatively, you can affix an adhesive film to your guitar that will allow suction cups to adhere more securely, but these films can cause serious damage to your guitar finish.

The Gitano is the most compact of all guitar supports and can easily fit in nearly any guitar case. It is ideal for playing on the right leg in a Flamenco position as well as for children and jazz guitars.  It is symmetrical and can be used by right-handed or left-handed players.

Note: This version of the Gitano support has three suction cups as shown in the closeup photos of the support. The photos of the Gitano attached to the guitar are of the older version which had only two suction cups.

Three Cups or Four? The Gitano Guitar Support is made from metal and has a velvet strap and three well-secured suction cups.  There is a space for a 4th cup, but it does not come with that cup and most people do not find it to be necessary.  There is a small square rubber stopper to take the place of where that cup would be installed.  If you need a 4th cup, you can purchase it HERE.  Please be sure to remove the small square rubber stopper before installing the cup.

Minimum instrument width: 3 inches.
(The distance between the outside edges of the cups is 3 inches.)

The Gitano support does not come with adhesive strips for non-glossy finishes.  If you need them, we recommend Kling-On Suction Cup Helpers.

Gitano Guitar support

Excellent device. Well made and the three suction cups give a very stable location. Definitely recommend this one !!

I bought my second gitano support. I am very happy with them.
I bought a fourth succion cup for each on them in order to enhance chance the support will stay in place while playing. The guitare never fell while I was playing, but sometimes, it slides from one side to side when I put too much pressure on my guitar. I hope to lose this bad habit and wish the fourth succion cup wille compensate until I succeed !

Gitano guitar support

I ordered this guitar support to replace the now defunct previous model. The newer iteration has three suction cups as opposed to two in the original model, with a noticeable improvement in stability. I decided to add an optional fourth cup, and now the device is rock solid !
I like this support for its compact design, which folds down neatly and still fits in the case. I anticipate fitting all my nylon string guitars soon. Also thank you to the folks at X Guitars for your efficient service. Take care, and stay healthy, David.

Works

I have mine on a 3/4 Epiphone. I just leave it on there, guitar fits in the case fine. Sticks on easily, doesn't come off unless you pull. Plan on ordering one for my full size.

Hello, James.

Thank you for your review. I'm glad you're happy with your Gitano.

I just wanted to warn you that leaving any suction cups attached to your guitar can cause your finish to be discolored underneath the cups. It's best to remove the support when you're not using it.

Thank you very much for your support!

Regards,
Geoff
