The Cordoba 45CO has been discontinued by Córdoba. As a replacement, I recommend the Alhambra 7P.  In a side-by-side comparison of the 45CO and 7P, I found that overall, the Alhambra is richer and smoother and with better sustain. The Cordoba 45CO Cedar Top Classical Guitar combines authentic Spanish craftsmanship with the world's finest exotic tonewoods. The highlight of the 45CO is its cocobolo back and sides, a Central American rosewood known for its striking visual character and bold tonal spectrum. When combined with a fan-braced solid western red cedar top, cocobolo not only creates an incredibly full voice suitable for many styles, but lights up a room with its unique, colorful hues. The 45CO's Spanish cedar neck is joined to the body using Spanish heel construction for optimal resonance and stability and is topped with an African ebony fingerboard. Traditionally appointed and tastefully adorned, the 45CO features an Indian rosewood bridge, body binding, and headplate, and a Spanish-style hand-inlaid mosaic rosette. Other premium features include a dual action truss rod, gold-plated tuning machines, bone nut and saddle, and premium Savarez strings. A humidified Humicase Protege case is included.
