Alhambra 3C CW EZ Cutaway Classical Guitar is a great instrument for the guitarist wanting to amplify and have easier access to the higher frets. Neck width is slightly less than the standard classical width. This is the successor to the 3C CW E1. It is the same guitar, but with upgraded electronics. Recommended Strings: This guitar comes with D'Addario EXP44 Extra Hard Tension strings installed. These are not bad strings, but don't allow the guitar to live up to its full potential. I recommend the following strings for this guitar:

Carbon: My favorite strings of all I've tried are Savarez Alliance set 540J. These strings provide great volume and resonance. Being Carbon, they are a bit thinner in diameter than nylon strings. The tone is brighter and not as mellow as nylon strings. If you want a softer sound, nylon may suit you better.

Nylon: For nylon strings, I really like Savarez Corum New Cristal set 500CJ stings. They provide a nice round tone, good volume, and a comfortable feel.

Awesome little guitar

Very pleased with the Alhambra C3 CW EZ Cutaway - Not only does it look great - it sounds phenomenal!!! Whether playing soft or loud, unplugged or plugged in, it is crystal clear or can pack a punch. The neck feels as familiar as my old Alhambra, but the cutaway makes access to the higher fret board much easier. I am loving it!!!!
